“The Horrifying Housemate”

October 31, 2024/in Uncategorized/by Emme Clause

by Malia Williams

October 8, 2028 it was a misty day. My name is Amelia Faleaf. I have a sister and I’m 18. Today was the day they assigned housemates. I went to the auditorium to meet my new housemate. It was a girl named Cammy Dress. We were registered in dorm 6.

Over the next two weeks she was acting strange. She was jittery at times & overly aggressive she seemed like she was on the verge of insanity. But every day after lunch she played with her cat Missy, she would act completely fine after that. It scared me so I wouldn’t talk to her until after lunch. I was worried for her & the cat, but I was relying on Missy to keep her sane.

The next day at 8 pm we had dinner, but a few hours later late at night she asked me to go outside to the school garden.I asked “why did you ask me to come out here so late”. She said “I wanna play”. She got closer and said “ wanna see what’s in my bag”. Before I said anything she pulled her cat missy out the bag, the cat was dead. Then she said “ she didn’t survive the game your turn to play”.She pushed me to the ground with a knife in her hand and said “let’s play”. She attacked me with a knife.

I ran, I ran for my life. She had cut my throat. I could taste the blood, my throat was hurting but I still yelled as loud as I could. “Help me, help me, she’s trying to kill me”. She said “ you can cry all you want but in the end you’ll end up dead anyway”. I felt a sharp pain in my arm, she stabbed me. Before I passed out I heard a voice saying “police drop the knife” my last thought before i passed out was “im saved”.The next morning i woke up in a hospital.

After a week I was discharged from the hospital with a broken arm. I was staying at my moms house. I was seeing a therapist. That night it all happened over again. When I found out the night I was discharged she escaped. I was scared, I was sick to my stomach. But all I could do was sit there, helpless.

The End… until next time.
