George heard his alarm, so he jumped out of bed to get ready for school. After he finished getting ready, he thought it would be fine if he played a video game or two. George loaded Brawl Stars and played a couple of matches. He had five minutes before it was time to go to his bus. He thought he could do one more game before going to the bus stop. He loaded into one more match and was destroying his opponent so, being a gamer George had to rub it in. Before he finished his rant on how bad his opponent was, he ended it by saying that the reason he was playing so badly was that nobody loved him. George had the rest of his life to regret that decision… however long that was. After the five minutes were up he walked down to the bus stop, where the bus was waiting for him. As he got onto the bus he loaded Brawl Stars again and put in his headphones. As the bus left the stop he felt a bone-chilling breeze roll down his body. As he looked up from his phone in distraught, he realized nobody was there. He pulled out his headphones and heard nothing but the creek of the bus. The bus driver looked up at his mirror and said,’’ Is anything wrong? I would hate for you to feel uncomfortable,’’ he said with a deceitful smile. George, fearing for his life said,’’ No everything is fine.’’ The bus driver replied,’’ Great because I got nothing to lose since nobody loves me,’’ and with that, he looked back at the road ahead. 10 minutes later they were in a desert with nothing but the open road and cacti ahead. After realizing that he could only survive by running for the front of the bus and pulling a red lever, George gathered his courage and ran for the lever. George didn’t think he ever ran so fast in his life. The bus driver looked up in a brisk motion, and just as quickly as he looked up, George hit the lever. The doors swung open and George ran as far as he could. After running for what felt like miles he stopped at a gas station. He stopped and looked around and decided that it was safe to go in. He asked to use the cashier’s phone to call his parents and the cashier said sure. 10 minutes later a crowd of people surrounded him, many were reporters, but he didn’t pay any attention to them and quickly spotted his parents. George ran to them and gave them one big hug and promised never to play video games again. The next day, He was walking to the bus stop when a car pulled up the driver said,’’ The bus driver wasn’t the only one you humiliated,’’ and snatched George up. George was never seen again.
