My friend and I were out on Halloween. We saw a spooky house and we had a staring contest to see who would go first. I lost, so I went to knock on the door. When I did, the door opened and something pushed me inside. I tried to open the door, but it wouldn’t budge! So, I wandered around the house. I heard strange sounds that were screams of terror. Out of nowhere I saw a blinding light! Then I heard laughter and not the “ha ha” funny kind, more like there’s a mad scientist in this house laughter. I looked in the room and standing thar laughing was a mad scientist! I ran as fast as I could away from the room. There where I had stoped to take a breath, I saw a hall full of bones! I stood there nervous. Something or someone tapped me as I turned around, I saw the scariest ghost! Then up ahead I saw someone with an ax he looked at me. I looked at him with fear. After two minutes he slowly came towards me. Once he was four or five feet away from me, he pointed his ax at me. I was so scared, so I ran through the ghost which I forgot I could do. Down the hall I saw the keys hanging in my reach! So, I ran as fast as my legs could carry me. I unlocked the door and ran to my impatient friend. I told her I almost died she gave me a “What are you still worried about?’’ look and gave me a big hug and agreed to never to go back to that house again.
